The famous Forbes magazine has recognized Sri Lanka as the best place to visit wildlife outside of Africa. This ranking by Forbes magazine comes as Sri Lanka continues to attract attention due to its unique tourist offerings and natural beauty. This information has been revealed in the latest report published by Brand Finance on the ranking of world countries in 2023. The report further indicated that Sri Lanka is currently facing its worst economic crisis since independence in 1948. And according to this global index, Sri Lanka is also the country with the highest situation in terms of recession this year.
08. Air Payment:
For the first time in 20 years, the fares for foreign flights using Sri Lankan airspace will be increased. This action will be taken to increase the annual income from foreign flights using Sri Lanka's airspace to one crore twenty million US dollars. The Ministry of Ports, Navy and Civil Aviation has taken steps to increase the air transport service charges as per the gazette notification.
